Participate in the Tech & Talking study at the SMU KID Lab!
Come be a part of research to understand early child development
Curious about your child’s language development? Wonder how screen time is impacting their growth?
The SMU KID (Kids in Development) Lab is trying to answer these questions. Parents of children 17-30-months (1.5-2.5-years) are invited to be a part of the Tech & Talking research study which looks at how young children respond and interact with technology vs. regular toys.
Participating involves a single visit to the lab on SMU’s east campus. During the visit, children engage in an interactive activity with the researcher while caregivers’ complete paperwork on their development.
Caregivers receive $20 as a thank you and informal feedback on language development at their child’s age. English-speaking children 17-30-months-old and their parent are eligible!
